Telnet?
By default, Microsoft Windows does not have a telnet client installed. You have to install the telnet client, otherwise, error message will be displayed:
- 'Telnet' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
How to enable a Telnet?
To enable the telnet client on Windows, run the following command string from Command prompt or Run window:
start /w pkgmgr /iu:"TelnetClient"
This may take a few minutes. Note that this must be done only once.
