The FROM argument specifies an author of the email. The address is displayed in the recipient email client FROM field. Specifying a FROM field is mandatory. All replies are sent to an email address specified in the FROM field, if the REPLYTO argument is not used.
Command syntax
- febootimail -FROM john@example.com
- febootimail -FROM john@example.com -FROMNAME John Doe
- febootimail -FROM "John Doe <john@example.com>"
All recipients will see the sender information in FROM the field.
febootimail -TEXT Sending simple email from the command line -FROM "John Doe <john@example.com>" -TO nora@example.com -SERVER smtp.example.net
To specify a friendly name, use the FROMNAME argument. To specify a different reply address, use the REPLYTO argument
