When using dial-up modem to connect to the Internet, it is necessary to complete dial-up procedure. The DIAL command brings up a standard dial-up window that allows getting online. Depending on modem settings, the connection is established either automatically or after a manual confirmation.
Command syntax
- febootimail -DIAL
Enable automatic connection by configuring your modem (to connect automatically, to ask for password, not to disconnect after sending email etc.).
febootimail -SERVER smtp.example.net -FROM ed@example.net -TO emma@example.com -TEXT Sending command line email using the modem connection -DIAL
