After copying a registry key to another registry location, the Copy Registry Key Action retains the path and names of source and destination registry keys in dynamic Variable Wizard values. These dynamic values can be automatically retrieved by other Actions of the same Task and used as their parameters.

Destination key name Returns the path and name to which the registry key was copied.
Example:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\App\Cfg2411
Source key name Returns the path and name of copied registry key.
Example:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\App\Cfg
Completion statusRetrieve Action execution status with a possible value—Successful or Failed. Or Empty, if Action has not been executed yet.
