Overview of FTP Watcher. The FTP Watcher monitors file and folder changes in a remote directory on an FTP server. FTP Watcher relies on the Connect to FTP Action that establishes connection with the FTP server.

Also, watch in subdirectories | FTP Watcher will monitor for changes not only in specified directory, but also in its subdirectories. |

Use connection | FTP Watcher relies on the Connect to FTP Action to establish connection with SFTP server. If multiple Connect to FTP Actions are used in the Task, user can choose which connection will be used to watch for file and directory changes. |
Advanced | Choose advanced connection settings to select Actions to perform before connecting to FTP server to monitor remote files and directories. |
Interconnect
- FTP Watcher integration and auditing—Variables (dynamic data) and Events (recorded activity). Access filenames and directory paths of the monitored location using presets, or construct a full path from multiple variables. Verbose log events are provided for connecting to an FTP server, as well as for detailed monitoring and triggering event information.
