This Error Event is part of Automation Workshop Service Events.
Event ID · 2409
Overview
The error indicates that Automation Workshop Service has failed to send data to Automation Workshop Manager. This indicates a system state which renders Automation Workshop fully or partially inoperative.
Cause
The most common cause is when the Service is under very heavy load and the Automation Workshop user interface can not display thousands of event messages per second. This is also a case when you are connected to a remote machine over a very slow internet connection, and the network can not handle such a load.
Note, that no information is lost—everything is still logged into the Service.log file. If the issue persists for a remote Automation Workshop instance, you can adjust the Event reporting option to display less events, and then use the Log Manager for complete event log. For a local machine, you can adjust the Display in Log Pane Task setting.
Another possible cause is that the system is very low on resources, such as kernel objects or memory. As a solution, try to restart the computer. If the problem persists, contact system administrator.
Event example
See an example of the Connection timed out Event message:
- Could not send data to client. Connection timed out.
Note
The error can occur if lots of Tasks are running very resource intensively so that Automation Workshop Manager can not handle such a load. In such case events can not be seen in Automation Workshop Manager; however, full information is available in log files.
