"Task started manually using specified credentials"

Overview

The information message is shown when a Task has been started manually with user credentials specified in the Run As tab of Task Properties. Task can also be started via batch file or desktop shortcut.

The Task can be executed with different user credentials depending on whether upon starting the Task some user is logged into the system or not. If some user is logged on, Automation Workshop will use one set of credentials and, if not, the other credentials will be used.

Event examples

See some examples of the Task started manually Event messages:

  • Task "Perform Network Audit" started manually using "netw.s2022.local\Admin" credentials.
  • Task "Sync DB" started manually using "JM-PC\James" credentials.

Note that there is a similar event 2050 for the Tasks that are started automatically.
