"Can not read from Task file"

Overview

The error indicates that Automation Workshop failed to load Task file in which all Task settings is saved. As a consequence not only Task is inactive, but also it is not possible to view Task settings and edit the Task.

Possible cause for inability of Automation Workshop to read from Task file is that Task file is in incompatible format or damaged, current Windows account is not granted permission to read files in necessary folder, media is physically damaged (reading or writing is not possible on hardware level), or Task file does not exist.

When the remote deployment fails, for instance, when the remote server does not have enough free disk space, the service.log may contain a Can not read from Task file event.
