This Warning Event is part of Remote SSH Command Events.

Event ID · 337203

"Stderr output"

Overview

The warning message is shown whenever the Remote SSH Command has executed command or script, and the standard error stream stderr is non-empty. The stderr variable is accessible using the Variable Wizard.

Event example

See an example of the Stderr output Event message:

  • Task "Init Backup" Action "Remote SSH Command" stderr ( -bash: line 7: syntax error ; echo "Febooti-EOF:$?" ).

Notes

Automation Workshop always appends Febooti-EOF:$? string to the error output to capture remote command stderr messages.

Remote SSH Command Action can treat exit status values greater than specified either as warnings or errors.

The art of automation. A 90-second masterclass.
