Choose variable name and specify what value to set. If a variable with the same name is already created in the Task, the Set Variable Action will overwrite it with a new value. When setting variable value, both fixed text or dynamic Variable Wizard value can be used.

Interconnect
- Set Variable integration and auditing—Variables (dynamic data) and Events (recorded activity). Retrieve the current and prior values of a variable after its value has been set, accessible via the Variables category. Furthermore, an event signaling the successful variable assignment is logged and displayed in the Log Pane.
